Songs in Planning

Streamline your church service preparation and workflow with Worship Extreme! All of Worship Extreme's apps – Presenter, Music Stand, and Planning – use cloud technology to sync content, songs, and other data across the different apps. So, songs that are already in your library from Presenter and Music Stand will automatically populate in Planning.

Connecting to SongSelect

Users who have a Copyright License with CCLI can link their CCLI account with Worship Extreme to import lyrics from SongSelect into the WE apps. (Chord charts, lead sheets, ChordPro, and vocal sheets will require paid subscription to SongSelect.) To connect to SongSelect from within Planning, click on your name in the top right corner and go to Settings. There, you can connect using a valid CCLI Profile email and password. Note that only Admin-level users on WE are able to establish this connection, but once completed, it will be established for the whole organization.

Adding Songs

Navigate to Songs from the left menu. There are three main sections on this page: a search bar at the top, Your Library, and SongSelect Results. The search bar will search both your existing library as well as the SongSelect database (if SongSelect is connected). If a song is not already in your library, you can import it from SongSelect by clicking on the song from the SongSelect Results. On the next page, you can preview the song details and lyrics before choosing to Import to Library.

If you don't have access to SongSelect or the song is not available in SongSelect, you can manually enter the song using the New button above the search bar. Fill out the fields on the following page and Save your entry. This song will then be available in your song library for use in all the WE apps.

Please note that this manual entry form will not import song lyrics or any other files from SongSelect. Also, make sure to fill the Copyright field with the exact wording/formatting you'd like the copyright credits to be displayed with. (Please reference the copyright formatting and display requirements of your specific licensing company.)
