Not saving changes to songs

September 19, 2019
We change a lot in the song from what is on WE. We had more choruses, etc. But every time we go to use the song again from our list none of the changes or backgrounds are saved. How do we get them to save?

Backgrounds are set in the cue, not in the song lyrics editor.

Verify you haven't set a custom slide order for that cue. If you see "Reset order" button in the top right of the cue, click that.

I don't think I expressed correctly. I tried hitting reset after I had made changes to a song and my changes were gone and it went back to the original order. My goal is that after I make changes, add choruses, rearrange tiles, the next time I pull it up to use it the changes I made are the saved. I do change the background in Media, but the next time I pull up the song there is no background. How do I get WE to save everything I change to a song to use again in a future service.

Backgrounds are not tied to a song, they are tied to a cue. You can set a default background for all future cues under Settings > Defaults.

If you set a custom slide order in the cue, then add new slides, the new slides will not show in the cue until they are added in the cue view or the order is reset. If you edit existing slides, those edits will show.

This explains the three ways to order slides. https://www.worshipextreme.com/docs/103-slide-order

Is there someone we can call and talk to about this? I don't seem to be able to convey what I am trying say. I'm not sure how this response will help me save changes for future use.
