Heavy compression on beamed Powerpoint

March 17, 2018
Hi ! Newbie here :)

We're beaming PPTX files (Powerpoint 2010) through the Worship Extreme viewer (not through Powerpoint) and the result on the big screen appears very pixellated on pictures, especially on smaller texts, like the program would apply a very heavy compression.
This issue does not appear when using Powerpoint, ruling out the hardware and the file, except if there is some incompatibility between a relatively old Powerpoint version and your latest software.

We would really like to use the internal presentation viewer, since switching to and from Powerpoint disrupts quite a bit the experience...

Is it possible somewhere to have a higher quality ?

Thank you :)

Thanks for the post!  If you are using Windows, you can click "Launch with PowerPoint" in the upper right of the cue to display with PowerPoint and take advantage of transitions/animations

To improve the still images that Worship Extreme builds, you need to up the quality (size) of the slides.  You can do that in PowerPoint under "Design", "Slide Size".  There you can increase the width/height to then build a larger output.
