Permission levels, and stage view app

October 20, 2016
 Hello, a couple questions.

First, what are the different permission levels that you can set for different users?

And second, how many devices can you connect via the stage view app?

Hello!

You can see the different permission levels in this screenshot.  https://www.worshipextreme.com/img/docs/screenshots/users.png  Or by clicking the gear icon in the upper right of the app and selecting "Users".

There is no limit on devices for the Stage Display app.

I have a similar question. What is the real difference between a user and an editor? So if a regular person who is in charge of setting the week's service layout should be added as a user or editor? What is real importance of syncing to the cloud?

Thanks!

Syncing with the cloud allows for access to all lyrics, media and cue lists on any computer connected to the internet.

A good use case for the "Viewer" permission is a children's worship area where students may be running the tech.  They can make changes on the local computer.  But if they happen to make a lot of unneeded changes, a sync would not affect other machines using the account.

If you currently use one computer and don't yet take advantage of the cloud syncing, there won't be a noticeable different between "Viewer" and "Editor".

Let me know if you have any other questions.  Thanks!
