I can't for the life of me figure out how to just create a simple static background for slides instead of using one of the WE packaged/animated backgrounds. our church has an old but very good Panasonic projector that maxes out at 1024 x 768 in 4:3 screen ratio. The packaged backgrounds only present as 16:9. I just want to create a simple static dark blue gradient or solid background that will work in 4:3. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Do I have to create an "image" file as a JPEG and then import it as an image, or is there some utility in the app itself for doing something this simple? Thanks much!

Leave the background blank for the slides, then set the background in the cue when you add the slides as the "foreground".
