Our worship team doesn't necessarily stick to the order of songs that we are given. This means that we sometimes have to search for the right song in our cue and it's not always obvious from the title. In OpenLP it was easy previewing a song before going live with it. Is this something that is possible in WE? I'm still a new user and discovering things as I go along...

Under Settings >Defaults, turn off "Auto-fire". This will allow you to pull up a cue, but won't display it on screen until a slide is clicked.
