Add Scripture to the Presentation

January 31, 2018
It would be nice to add Scripture to the presentation instead of creating a separate cue.

This would be very helpful. Currently the pastor has 1-5 points during each sermon and a scripture reference and currently there doesn't appear to be a way to add the "point" and scripture verse on the same slide without manually typing out the verse.

This flexibility may also address our use case for adding headings or otherwise editing/splitting verses.

Other issues this causes are:
1. You cannot see the next slide because it is in the next cue. Only the slides in the current cue are available for preview so the tech person flies blind. Even the presenter is blind to next cue if using remote when the next cue is a slide after scripture or vice versa.

2. If you have to go back to a previous slide, since it is a different cue it starts at the beginning of that cue's slides, not where you may have left off or where you want to actually be. Looks terrible in presentation.

I personally love using WE but this creates problems for us and would be great if it were changed. Thank you for considering! - Scott

Under Settings > Defaults, you can turn off "Auto-fire" which will then allow you to preview cues without auto-firing the first slide.

I am ALSO very much for this integration possibility... It would make our service layout look so much cleaner and save our media volunteers from having to click back and forth from scriptures to sermon points/notes over and over again. Even with "auto-fire" off, it can still get really confusing for some people trying to figure out where they are supposed to be clicking and going from a certain point. Scripture that can just be PART of the slide presentation would make this SO MUCH EASIER.
