Slide element with varying formatting

I want to put some liturgy into a slide, with some bits in bold / a different colour for the congregation to join in. Is there a way to do this in single text box? It would be very laborious to have to insert a new text box each time I want to change the formatting. I seem to only be able to change everything in the box at the same time, even if something is highlighted.

This is possible for "Songs". For "Slides" you would need to create different text boxes.
