Countdown optimized for speaker timer

July 21, 2019
Our pastor likes to have a countdown timer for his sermon.
Even if I put the size of the text down to the smallest it will go and move it off to a corner it still shows on the main display, when the timer is only for the pastor not the congregation.
It would also be useful to be able to start a countdown timer automatically when we launch the first cue in his sermon.
It would also be useful to have the timer count up after it reaches zero and flash red or something on the stage display.

On another note, when we use the countdown to a time/relative time (for instance 10:35am) after a while, before it reaches zero the timer just disappears. Using a fixed countdown (like 30mins) doesn't seem to have the problem with disappearing.

Hi there, did you ever get this information? We would like to implement this as well.

Hey Jason,
They have since added the ability to choose which display the countdown timer goes to via check boxes in the countdown timer window, so that solved half of it. That I've seen they have not added the ability to start a timer automatically when a cue is started however. This would be even more useful now as we have started having timed elements of the service like 5 minutes of greeting and we have to manually start them.

The latter part of your post is precisely what we are looking for. Hopefully we can get that soon.
