why does the remote app treat google slides and powerpoints differently

If I upload a powerpoint, the remote app will advance the next cue once the ppt is complete by pressing the next button. With Google Slides, it will not advance to the next cue. The next cue has to be selected from the list and you cannot advance to the next cue by pressing next like with ppts. Have I missed something when adding the google slide?

This is a limitation of Google Slides at this time. Because Google Slides supports animations and transitions, Worship Extreme isn't aware when the last animation/transition has been fired so the "next" action is always sent to the Google presentation until the cue is changed.
