Song sorting seems messed up

I'm using version 4.43.4 and it seems like the sorting of the songs list is messed up. I tried sorting alphabetically ascending and descending, and sorting by date ascending and descending. When I click the sort buttons the order of the songs changes, but each time the order does not look right -- it isn't actually sorted correctly. Is anyone else seeing this problem also?
