Keynote compatibility

June 8, 2018
It would be great NOT to have to convert Keynote slides to images & then import the images into Powerpoint to be able to have sermon slides in WE. Will you look please at having the ability to import keynote files directly into WE?

You can save a couple of steps by exporting the Keynote presentation directly to a .pptx file from within Keynote (File >> Export to >> Powerpoint...) and then import that file into the Worship Extreme library. You don't get the transitions, but it saves a bit of time.

Thanks, exporting from KeyNote to P/Point has been in place for a long time. The major issue is that Windows handles fonts differently than Macs & that PowerPoint on the Mac only works with a limited range of fonts & even then, they can sometimes display incorrectly.

Hi Adam

I'm sure there are definitely some technically hurdles and maybe even a few legal ones to get this feature up and running but personally I can say it's something that would be amazing. My pastor is a hardcore keynote pastor and as such we often have to switch between WE and Keynote. It would be fantastic to be able to run our entire service from WE and literally the only thing holding us back from doing so is keynote. Anywho I'm sure it's something that's being considered just putting my 2 cents in. No other Worship software (that I am aware of) supports direct keynote integration (not even ProPresenter) and it would definitely set you apart.

Hi Adam, thanks for the reply. Do you simply a keynote using the powerpoint foreground option? Or is there a different way to do this?
