customize song lyrics

if I want to show the original chorus for a song and then, the second time we go through the same chorus change just a couple of words is there a way to do this? Currently, I can add another chorus slide, but if I make a change to the new slide, it also changes the original.

Hi Melissa- If you create a copy of a slide in the slide editor, the original will not be updated. Creating a copy in the cue view will just update the slide order.
